Milwaukee, WI - Lumen Legal is seeking a Corporate Tax Counsel for a contract assignment or possible temp-to-hire position with a multi-industrial Fortune 500 corporate client.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6
years of recent experience in corporate and commercial legal transactional matters, supporting the implementation of company financing activities, preparing and coordinating complex contracts/agreements, registrations, and other related legal documents, as well as assisting clients in tax planning, structuring, and completing the due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Please note this is not a tax planning position. The assignment is for the corporate, contract, commercial transaction legal support of the client's implementation purposes.
Prior in-house, accounting firm, or large law firm experience is desired; an LLM in tax or accounting background is a plus, although not required. Candidates must possess at JD degree and be licensed in good standing in any US State jurisdiction.
