Our Midwest client is a complete face-to-face experiential marketing, design and fabrication company focused on delivering meaningful & measureable results to their clients. They are seeking a marketing/program strategist to develop experiences that help their clients engage, educate and entertain their customers when they connect face-to-face in event, exhibit and branded environment engagements.
Position
Summary:
This position is a key member of strategic marketing group and will play a central role in the concept development, presentation and execution of strategic, experiential marketing programs. This person will work in a collaborative team with account, design, research, creative and production team members to develop client solutions, will play a key role in pitching the concepts and may lead the integrated marketing components all the way through to on-site execution.
This position could be ideal for an agency strategist, account planner or experiential marketing professional who wants to be a part of an exciting marketing group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outstanding, demonstrated time and project management abilities
- Experiential/Face-To-Face Marketing, including exhibits or event marketing
- Agency account/writing experience
- RFP/proposal writing in a complementary industry (architecture, design, etc.)
- Manage RFP/RFI process in conjunction with Management, Sales and Creative
- Develop Executive Summary for each opportunity and recommend process/team
- Develop working plan for incoming RFPs
- Manage timelines
- Source and write strategic responses for questions
- Direct or assist with research and development of specialty content
- Enter final information in online tool
- Work with design to develop digital/print responses
- Maintain and expand RFP library on ongoing basis
- Maintain database of wins/losses Participate in post win/post loss analysis and key learnings from each
- Assist with and/or lead opportunities with current clients or prospects to develop experiential plans
- Perform tasks as available and as assigned; research, ideation, client deep dives, strategy formulation, pricing/proposal writing, collaboration with internal and external teams, presentation development, pitch process.
- Participate in internal and prospect/client meetings as appropriate.
- Assist in the compilation of research, data and deliverables for projects
REQUIREMENTS

RFP/proposal writing experience
Strong verbal/written communication and phone skills
Experience in Experiential, including exhibit or event marketing
College degree in related field required
Marketing/business development/agency background and 3-5 years of related experience



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
