The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is currently seeking an outstanding individual to serve in a part-time (75%) PROJECT position as an Information Systems (IS) Business Automation Senior .
The initial expected duration of this appointment is one (1) year.

The Department of Human Resources is comprised of professionals providing quality services for the life-cycle needs of the UWM employee, in support of the Campus' mission and vision, and in partnership with the University, UW System and the State.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing and administering the Human Resources System (HRS) security provisioning process for both the Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) modules. It is also responsible for coordinating, managing, and disseminating the Human Resources System (HRS) security multi-factor authentication program. Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating efforts for HRS security assessments, documenting procedures, and implementing policies. The position operates under general supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of developing and evolving security standards or protocols.
2. Knowledge of information technology auditing practices.
3. Technical understanding of Oracle-PeopleSoft.
4. Knowledge of legal issues and policies related to information security in higher education.
5. Experience in managing projects that require the coordination of and effective communication with functional users and technical staff.
6. Excellent organizational skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and to change priorities and focus quickly when required.
8. Ability to collaborate in a diverse work environment.
9. Ability to work both independently or as part of a team in a dependable, conscientious, and responsible manner.
10. Strong attention to detail.
11. Well developed problem solving skills.
12. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
13. Ability to provide excellent customer service and exhibit professionalism.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
