BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications across the enterprise in order to meet business needs. Accountable for understanding business/functional specifications, completing analysis, partnering with Architecture to determine design and delivering the development of quality applications/systems in order to minimize cost, support maintainability and comply with development best practices. Accountable for converting high level architectural design to a detailed application design; may include providing estimates, software product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.

As part of NM's EPS (Enterprise Project/Support) Large Project Delivery IT organization, serve as a senior application developer on Agile/Scrum teams for the Planning and Sales solution area within NM's major FSP (Financial Security Platform) initiative. Responsible for thought leadership in the creating, testing, documenting, and delivering of cross-browser web sites / applications that separate structure, presentation, and behavior using Microsoft's Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks. Lead and mentor others on detail, scalability, performance and maintainability to deliver solutions for both NM's nation-wide Network Office marketing force and NM's customers.
Required: advanced skills in .NET; Web Services; Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
Preferred: past experience with vendor packages; comfort dealing with ambiguity and dynamic environments; ability to learn and mentor others on new technologies; Agile/Scrum Development Team experience; familiarity with Lean concepts (Kanban and/or other Lean visual techniques); comfort in providing the technical leadership to deliver solutions across multiple technologies and in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 5 years experience in application integration and development. Possesses advanced skills and knowledge of development methodologies across various technologies that includes both mainframe and distributed application platforms, enterprise architecture best practices, and enterprise application integration technologies such as MQ Series and Message Broker. Strong technical aptitude and ability to logically analyze and creatively solve complex issues independently. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written to multiple levels of the organization. Proven ability to lead teams and drive for results through others. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels throughout the enterprise. Proven ability for influencing current enterprise standards, industry standards, technologies, methodologies and best practices. Exposure to project management preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
