Role and
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate:
Delivers, defines, and manages IT strategy and technical expertise within Architecture thru the management of resources while maintaining an enterprise perspective
Coaches, mentors, and grows resources in the areas of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and leadership skills
Identifies and acquires talent
Performs operational management of the practice
Performs relationship management with areas outside of Architecture
Contributes to and implements improvement opportunities to applied and strategic architecture processes within the practice
Works with team members and others within and outside of Architecture to drive change
Manages and resolves high level exceptions while influencing leadership to determine outcomes
Manages budget and people as defined by Director
Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Ten or more years of diverse experience in information technology across multiple systems, hardware and software platforms, design patterns, and methodologies __
Minimum of three years project management experience (budgeting, forecasting, work plans, etc.)
Experience with architectural abstractions and design patterns
Experience leading and developing people
Experience administering/leading performance management and goal setting processes with team members
Ability to maintain relationships and networks to influence strategic thought and decision making
