BASIC FUNCTION: Accountable for configuring, developing, and maintaining enterprise data management system solutions across multiple domains to provide excellent data delivery to Managed Investments consumers. This includes providing input and being responsible for monitoring adherence to data design, technical design and technical best practices. Analyzes, configures, develops, controls, and implements business rules and validations to serve the data needs of Managed Investments. Provides guidance on data sourcing approaches, source feeds, mastered data and connections between various systems. This position will continually look for improvement opportunities and industry best practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Investments, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of 3 years experience in definition, design, configuration, development, deployment, and support in one or more of the following areas: Database Modeling (including business data, structured data, automatic processing, and user interfaces; Extract Transform Load processing (including data profiling, data capture, data integration, data movement and data storage); SQL Server Database (components including tables, indexes, stored procedures, functions & SQL Language including data definition and data manipulation); Online user-interface screens (web-based online for query, update, insert & includes complex workflows). Experience dealing with ambiguity and organizational change. Experience in establishing and enforcing policies and internal controls. Strong written and oral communication skills. Acts like an owner, comfortable with taking the initiative and works well independently. Self-starter, self-learner, able to handle a challenging workload in a flexible and agile manner.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This posting is for a position on the Investment and Financial Management Application Support Team and will be fully engaged on the Managed Investment Runway (MIR) corporate project as a Technical Data Steward. The Technical Data Steward is responsible for configuring, developing, and maintaining enterprise data management system solutions across multiple domains to provide excellent data delivery to Managed Investments consumers. This includes providing input and being responsible for monitoring adherence to data design, technical design and technical best practices.
