Joy Global Inc. offers excellent benefits, a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry. We are currently looking to add a Marketing Communications Specialist to our Milwaukee, WI corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Interprets and follows verbal and written instructions in order to create presentations, spreadsheets and documents based on conceptual information utilizing initiative, creativity and professional presentation techniques.
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and have a strong drive to present error-free work product.
Translates business objectives into communication solutions.
Manages progress of multiple projects simultaneously and on schedule; proactively communicates progress, changes, and delivery status to internal customers
Handles the pressure of last minute changes and not only survives, but enjoys the challenge and smile while doing so.
Handles work of a confidential nature, necessitating exposure to sensitive information and contacts requiring considerable discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy. Must exhibit high level of integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in graphic design, marketing, interactive multimedia, communications or related field
5 to 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design
Extensive experience and skills in Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Extensive experience and skills in the utilization of specified computerized graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and other programs that could assist the preparation of presentations.
Good spelling, grammar and proofing skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Exceptional attention to detail in graphics, layout, and typography
Strong design skills suitable for a corporate environment
Be able to work smoothly with clients in time sensitive situations
Capable of working towards aggressive deadlines
Flexible in multiple task assignments while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Self-motivated
Pleasant professional demeanor
