Job Description
Advicent Solutions,a leading provider of SaaS technology solutions for the financial services industry, is seeking aUser Interface Designerto design intuitive interfaces for Advicent's public websites to support lead generation and customer retention. This individual will also be responsible for designing compelling marketing, training and communications collateral.As a UI Designer at Advicent, your responsibilities will include the following:
Take direction from and collaborate with other marketing team members to produce user interface wireframes and/or high-fidelity mockups that meet business needs for public websites. Present design recommendations effectively.
Translate mockups in to front-end code using HTML, CSS, and other languages as needed. Experience with WordPress preferred.
Design user-interfaces according to general usability and design principles and ensure a consistent user experience.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new technologies in website navigation, browsers, information architecture and usability.
Create and maintain Advicent's public websites and internal company portal.
Work with other marketing team members to create customer-facing collateral such as sell sheets, ad banners, email templates, training materials, Marketo email campaigns, promotional videos, photographs etc.
Support Executive Team as needed with Board presentations, Town Hall presentations, User Conference presentations and Press Briefings.
Skills/Requirements
At least 18 months of experience in Web Design and/or software design.
At least 18 months of experience in designing email and pdf collateral.
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of study.
Strong knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS. Experience with WordPress preferred.
Basic knowledge of usability and design principles.
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to troubleshoot some front-end coding and browser compatibility issues.
Ability to multi-task on multiple projects and meet given deadlines.
Works collaboratively as a team player.
Ability to give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive manner.
Creative, resourceful and innovative.
Working knowledge of InDesign would be helpful.
Experience with XAML and/or Microsoft Expression Blend would be helpful.
Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile development methodologies is preferred.
Basic understanding of Ajax-based UI components and techniques is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
