Summary
This high impact position involves daily exercise of discretion and independent judgment as it pertains to specifying TGF products and
services
; while driving both profitability and customer satisfaction. Working with both distributors and end users, this position requires building and maintaining daily relationships along with an intimate understanding of the customer's business operations. The position requires a solid understanding of adhesive products, dispensing equipment, customer applications, market intelligence and competitive alternatives. To be successful in this position, one must demonstrate a strong ability to creatively solve application problems; possess natural curiosity with deep questioning skills; and be uniquely assertive. A high sense of urgency and judgment in resolving customer issues, following up, issuing quotations and properly administering sample requests is critical; as is providing an extreme level of customer service. Inside Sales Representatives act as application and product specialists, and profit generators; and are savvy at creating demand for TGF products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Exercise knowledge and discretion in assisting customers and prospects with adhesive and dispensing solutions.
Continuously enhance hot melt, water-based adhesive and dispensing knowledge. Develop skills to assist prospects with substrate testing and product selection.
Demonstrating astuteness in understanding costs, sales and profitability and be very comfortable with each.
Understanding blue prints as it relates directly to low pressure molding contract services offered.
Performs all aspects of order processing and assists customers and targeting prospects with product information, quotations, and samples.
Actively seek additional opportunities for sales, profitability and product placement.
Identifying lost business, proactively contacting the account to identify key buying influences and attempt to gain business back.
Following-up on sales leads, trade show leads and other inquiries. Some leads require involvement from outside sales team.
Meeting with sales personnel to identify prospects and develop a plan to pursue new business through inside sales efforts.
Investigating customer returns and credit requests. Process RGA/Credits as needed.
Providing information needed by the customer or prospect to move towards a sale (Sales literature, Technical Data Sheets, MSDS, etc.)
Following-up on all assigned and un-assigned responsibilities to ensure a successful conclusion.
Actively manage CRM database. Independently decide what information is crucial to tracking of all opportunities, sales activities, quotes, samples and to manage the outcome of the sales process. Database should be actively updated to reflect current status of all sales related functions and should demonstrate astute follow up and focus on closing deals.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (college or technical) in a related field of study
Minimum of 3 - 5 years phone-based Customer Service/Inside Sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent at the discretion of Human Resources and the hiring Manager.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
