POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
The Lean/Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Leader will be a dynamic results oriented change agent, with a demonstrated track record in developing a World Class Continuous Improvement culture through influence, mentoring, coaching and project leadership. This is a hands on leadership position that will be responsible for driving CI/Lean deployment activities across multiple domestic sites throughout United States. This role will be accountable for supporting continuous improvement initiatives which will result in reductions in manufacturing costs by providing training, expertise and direction for improvement. This position will be part of a dynamic, growing Operational Excellence Team and will serve as an instrumental partner in the company's and operation's continued growth/business expansion, as well as the organization's overall lean/continuous improvement journey!!!
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provides leadership, coaching, and facilitation in the evolution of the Continuous Improvement culture.
Champions, leads and develops the CI team, to include a broader cross functional representation, holds CI team meetings, and develops action oriented focus measured through the number of CI ideas received and completed.
Champions and owns CI System and works to create energy in its application in the attainment of key strategic initiatives and goals: Uptime, Productivity, Conversion Cost and Yield improvements.
Develops and delivers modules for a continuous improvement and problem solving training program for all employees.
Increases cross functional awareness and transparency through activities such as Lunch and Learns or other communication strategies.
Works closely with our finance team in the development of cost reduction targets tied to real deliverable activities and initiatives.
Fosters data driven change and employee engagement.
Develops a positive relationship with process owners and team leaders.
Simultaneously leads & drives multiple projects throughout the organization.
Manages process data collection and analysis as part of project tracking and completion.
Creates excitement, positive energy and recognition (be an advocate) inside and outside of company regarding CI accomplishments.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business or equivalent.
Minimum of five (5) years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities in conflict management & resolution, change management and emotional intelligence.
Demonstrated experience and success in application of continuous improvement philosophies, tools and techniques.
Demonstrated success in leading complex problem solving projects and initiatives, ability to manage multiple priorities, a bias for action.
Experienced and committed team leader.
Comfortable with analytical methods, mathematics, statistics, and is process focused.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to teach CI, Problem Solving Techniques and Project Management.
Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Must be able to travel up to 25%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certifications in Six Sigma (Black Belt Preferred), Lean and Project Management.
Proficiency with Minitab, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Project software.
Manufacturing leadership experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
