Controller Job Description Location:
Milwaukee, WI, 53223 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for providing financial leadership and direction to Res' business including analyzing financial results, partnering with Res' President and other functional leaders to improve financial performance, overseeing and developing the accounting team, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the company's accounting systems and policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for providing financial leadership and direction to Res' business including analyzing financial results, partnering with Res' President and other functional leaders to improve financial performance, overseeing and developing the accounting team, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the company's accounting systems and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial reporting and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and tax regulations.
- Manage the accounting team and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall company objectives.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management.
- Define accounting and finance requirements for new ERP system and maintain functional oversight after implementation.
- Provide financial justification for capital investments and track project activity.
- Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting and the safeguarding of assets.
- Validate the accuracy of costing system and contribute to enhancements of the system.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting or experience auditing manufacturing firms.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with product costing and related cost drivers in a manufacturing environment.
