We are hiring immediately for a full-time aircraft mechanic.
This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering veterans the opportunity to use your prior military aircraft maintenance experience to become a licensed A&P mechanic.
Start your career at Textron Aviation in this role, and we will provide a two-week prep course and pay for you to obtain your Airplane and Powerplant Mechanic certifications within 90 days of your start date.
Benefits What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
Your responsibilities include:
o Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
o Performs turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and engine run-ups.
What you need to be successful:
o High school education or GED required.
o Must have hours of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
o Must be able to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.
