The Administrator-In-Training (AIT) role is intended to prepare proven leaders for an Executive Director position, overseeing an Azura community.
After successful completion of the AIT program you will accept an assignment as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Receives day-to-day supervision from the Executive Director of the assigned department; will assist ED in the general supervision of team members within the assigned department, during each rotation Become familiar with the Standards of Practice for Long Term Care Administrators; Attend WALA CBRF course Train in each position of all departments so you are able to lead by example Understand the contribution each position within the facility makes to the overall success of the program Attend care plans meetings to learn how Nursing, Dietary and Activities play a key role each plays in resident care Requirements SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to interpret and implement the rules and regulations governing CBRF homes Must have a management style that is service oriented, with an awareness of, and a willingness to utilize the strengths of an interdisciplinary team of staff, volunteers and families, recognizing the importance of each.
Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Must be enrolled in a Accredited Degree Program in healthcare or related field After successful program completion, must be willing to serve in an Executive Director capacity in an Azura community, which may lead relocation Must be willing to relocate if needed Must be willing to work a minimum of 16 hours per week during AIT program and Full Time upon completion Job Type:
