The Wisconsin Women's Correctional Center System is currently recruiting to fill a Corrections Food Service Leader 4 position.
This position is based out of Milwaukee Women's Correctional Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Position Summary Under the direction of the Center Superintendent, this position is responsible for the food service operation at the Milwaukee Women's Correctional Center, provides support to the Robert E.
Ellsworth Correctional Center (REECC) and Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility MSDF.
Direct the production of meals; train and supervise inmate food service workers; plan meals and procure supplies; care for and clean kitchen equipment; maintain food inventory and proper sanitation standards.
May work holidays and weekends, and other times as needed and/or directed.
This position will use computer software in the preparation of food estimates.
Travel will be required as needed to REECC and MSDF.
Salary Information This position is in pay schedule/range 03-14 with a starting pay rate of $24.
59/hour, plus excellent benefits.
Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensations Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes.
A twelve-month probationary period is required.

Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have
Experience:
Performing lead worker related tasks (e.
g.
training/instructing, assigning duties, reviewing work, etc.
) Working in a food service environment, including handling, preparing, and cooking/baking of food as well as following standardized recipes Preparing and maintaining records (e.
g.
estimates of food purchases, food and supplies received, inventories, requisitions, etc.
) In addition to the above, well qualified applicant will have
Experience:
