Job Description:
As a Software Engineer specializing in Ecommerce Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge ecommerce solutions while adhering to best practices of software development.
Working as part of a scrum team, you will have the opportunity to adjust priorities and deliver business value in an agile environment.
In addition to your development responsibilities, you will also have the chance to mentor junior engineers and automate select systems administration tasks through the creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
Your role will involve suggesting technical alternatives, streamlining processes, and analyzing monitoring and system performance data to provide improvement recommendations.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Design and develop ecommerce solutions using best practices of software development Prioritize tasks and deliver business value as part of a scrum team Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers Automate systems administration tasks through scripting and tool development Suggest technical alternatives and streamline processes and systems Analyze monitoring and system performance data and provide improvement recommendations Provide monitoring support and troubleshooting for tier-one customer-facing services Perform other duties as required, including those not necessarily listed on this job description Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 3
years of experience, preferably in web architectures Proficiency in web development using C#,.
NET, and current JavaScript frameworks (primary skill) Experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, as well as utilizing existing Web services Familiarity with package managers such as NPM and NuGet Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with the ability to coach novice developers Strong diagnostic and debugging skills within development environments and customer solutions Experience with version control & continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, TFS, and Git Desired Characteristics:
Experience with SaaS and PaaS platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
