Delivery Driver SupervisorWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Delivery Driver Supervisor to join our team at General Beverage Sales Company.
As a Delivery Driver Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products are delivered to our customers in a professional and efficient manner.
You will also be responsible for the safety and training of our delivery drivers, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of delivery drivers under the direction of the Operations Manager- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of all products to assigned accounts- Provide training to delivery drivers on safety, delivery procedures, and customer service- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to the transportation of goods- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and driver performance- Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner- Ensure that all delivery vehicles are maintained in good condition and are equipped with necessary supplies- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback on areas for improvementWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Requirements:
o Responsible for initial training of new Driver hires.
o Provide on the job training in delivery skills, customer service, collections, and personal appearance.
o Ride with Drivers on a regular basis to train and evaluate overall job performance.
Provide Operations Manager with the written evaluations along with corrective actions or training that need attention.
o Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of delivery strategies and action plans.
o Assist in planning delivery schedules related to sick leave, vacations, and injuries.
o Work with Routing manager to improve effectiveness of the current delivery routes and establish new routes if necessary.
o Follow up on all complaints in close coordination with appropriate management to ensure problems are solved and to prevent recurrence.
o Assist with the inspection and maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment.
o Assist Operations Manager with quarterly Driver meetings.
These meetings should be used for continual training, review of company policies and procedures, set goals and standards, and provide Drivers with any information that will improve effectiveness with deliveries.
o Achieve highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
o Follow all General Beverage Sales Company policies and procedures in place for all staff o Carry out any special projects assigned by management within the given timeline.
