(Capital) is an employee-owned Milwaukee-based investment advisor that serves high-net-worth individuals, trusts, businesses, and charitable organizations.
We build custom-tailored investment portfolios to achieve our client's individual financial objectives.
Our firm is a registered investment advisor with the SEC.
Capital is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join our onsite operations team in a professional office setting.
What you will do:
Work collaboratively with portfolio managers, advisors, traders, and third-party service providers to help deliver consistent high levels of service to our clients.
Maintain, update, and customize our CRM and portfolio management systems.
This includes system updates, troubleshooting issues, and making changes to systems as needed.
Work collaboratively with Chief Compliance Officer to evaluate industry rules and regulations impacting operations.
Perform regular compliance reviews.
Audit data in various systems for accuracy regularly.
Assist with portfolio review process.
Assist with proxy voting and recordkeeping.
Document new, maintain, and update an internal knowledge base and procedure's manual.
Coordinate and integrate various systems to fully leverage the tools/systems in place.
Develop new and re-evaluate current processes and procedures to promote continuous improvement.
Support and analyze new initiatives to drive workflow improvements.
Assist in the production of quarterly client reports in a timely manner.
What you will need:
Degree in related field or 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
General knowledge and familiarity with financial markets (equities and fixed income).
Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law) or willing to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and precision.
Strong intellectual curiosity and desire for constant improvement.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and ability to work independently on various tasks/projects.
Superior organizational and time-management skills to ensure various tasks/projects are prioritized appropriately and completed accurately in a timely manner.
Professional written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
