Mechanical Engineer II
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for a contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI.
This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
o Remediate drawings and specifications for purchased parts and identify the critical aspects of the part, including listing NTRL requirementso Identify and remediation mechanical parts for quality improvementso Update mechanical CAD drawings to implement corrections, add dimensions, inspection requirements, process details, etc.
o Align with sourcing and suppliers on changes madeo Support creation of receiving inspection documentationo Document justification for changes to drawingso Creation of engineering change request documentationo Review assembly and identify critical dimensionsREQUIRED
Experience:
o CAD experience (CREO preferred)o Experience with change control in a medical device companyo Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, Material Masters and ECRs)EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree with 5
years' experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent or 7
years' experience with Associate's degree WORK HOURS:
Full-Time1st Shift Recommended Skills Cad Mechanical Engineering Recruitment Sap Applications Change Control Engineering Change Order Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
