To provide bookkeeping and financial services to small non-profit organization.
Requirements Include:
Previous bookkeeping experience in non-profit setting, payroll experience, proficient in Quick Books Pro accounting software, preparation of financial and budget reports, familiarity with filing IRS 1096 and 1099 tax forms, able to handle multiple tasks, in possession of outstanding organizational/prioritization skills, detail oriented, and able to work without daily supervision.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Handling all monthly bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and payable, maintenance of all accounts and general ledger in Quick Books Pro accounting program.
Prepares and provides analysis of all financial and budget reports.
Prepares all financial records for annual audit, and works with accountants during their preparation of the annual audit, LM and IRS reports.
Completes all other needed reports to the State of Wisconsin and the IRS.
Prepares bi-weekly payroll and maintains paid time off accounts.
Assists Executive Director with administering employee benefit programs, open enrollments, and insurance renewals.
Also Assists Executive Director with submission of Defense Fund Grant applications.
