Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility by compiling maintenance personnel assignment schedules and available resources to develop a plan for various maintenance activities while ensuring work gets completed on time.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.

Determines and records work assignments according to priority and availability.
Compiles and oversees distribution of Maintenance work schedule using CMMS.
Reviews work requests/orders for accuracy and clarity.
Prioritizes work through a defined protocol of process criticality and equipment redundancy.
Adjusts schedules to meet needs for unexpected emergency work or increased production demands.
Compiles data to understand the job well enough to describe what needs to be accomplished, estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
Acts as a liaison between maintenance and operations.
Coordinates planned down times to reduce mean time between failures and minimize interference with production schedules.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive maintenance plan for the facility.
Coordinates and schedules maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
Collaborates with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Monitors equipment performance and identifies areas for improvement or optimization.
Prepares preventative maintenance plans and schedules that are in sync with the organization's maintenance goals.
Conducts regular inspections to assess the equipment's condition and identify potential issues.
Provides technical guidance and support to maintenance team members.
Reviews all planned work and completed work and determines validity and accuracy of information and engages the appropriate resources with any questions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or Equivalent Proven experience in maintenance planning or project management.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in MS Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Trade School Certification or Professional Certification preferred.
Experience with CMMS, preferably L2L.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Temperatures vary throughout the plant, depending on the area and setpoint.
Office ConditionsRegular Room TemperaturePlant Conditions 35 - 48 F; Humidity.
5 F Freezer.

Hard Hat Steel Toed Shoes Hearing Protection PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or computer controls.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 lbs while moving product and/or packaging.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include far and near vision and the ability to see color.
Depth perception is required to move around departments and supplies.
