NET Software Developer for our downtown Milwaukee or Louisville location.

Be part of something new at Baird!We are staffing an IT centric delivery team dedicated to establishing, following, and/or executing strategic technology enhancements that improve IT Key Results for the PWM Portfolio including:
Improve IT Nimbleness and Flexibility Increase IT Speed, Capacity, and Quality One feature set might be working on strategic architectural improvements and the next set could be re-writing duplicative reports into a single Power BI dashboard that eliminates lifecycle and data consistency issues.
There will be a large variety of work that will require flexibility and an ability to get up to speed quickly! We value quality, consolidation, standardization, and enablement as this new group will find creative and innovative ways to improve the overall performance and quality of our ecosystem of solutions.
This role would involve a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of in-office (target 2-3 days per week) and remote work.
This is important to foster relationships and build consensus across leaders and teams.
As a Software Developer you will:
Engineer - do the work! Develop and build new solutions using a variety of technologies (full.
NET stack primarily using C#, JavaScript and MVVM Frameworks, IOC) Analyze, design, and refactor business applications to bring them up to current standards Nice to Haves Azure (Dev Ops, Service Bus, Data Tools, PaaS) Power Platform experience (Power BI and Power Apps) Experience with different types of testing (unit testing, TDD, BDD, etc.
) Test and troubleshoot - focus on quality! Maintain integrity of high-level design and architecture by participating in pairing and design/code reviews Identify and implement problem resolutions and perform system and risk analysis Participate in application reviews to help drive accurate and complete support documentation Focus on automated testing and continuous delivery Collaborate - build relationships! Work with team members and key stakeholders to develop high level project forecasts and creation of test plans Partner with project teams to translate business and functional requirements into technical design Learn - be your best! Seek out and apply new technologies and skills in daily work through conferences, online training, reading, participation in organizations and user groups, etc.

in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering is preferred, but we would love equivalent experience too.
Passion for software development with diverse experience including new development, support and maintenance.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft stack working across tiers (Object-Oriented design, C#, MVC, ASP.
NET, Web API) Strong experience working with SQL Server and other database technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal clients, business analysts, project managers and other developers to elicit requirements and successfully implement software projects.
Creative problem solver who is automation focused - success in reducing recurring work and automation to train users for self service.
Quality focused, motivated by small quick wins and process improvement.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Lean development environment, successfully collaborating within and across teams.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
