This position requires a positive attitude, a strong skillset of data-driven decision making and must be able to communicate clearly with others.
Establishes, manages, reviews, and maintains production schedules for assigned work centers to ensure the company meets its customer commitments in an efficient manner.
Working with operations, sales, and supply chain, will analyze work center loads for effective capacity planning.
Takes an active role and is in daily communication with all departments to effectively deliver an organized workflow.
Maintains and reviews production schedules ensuring timely completion of manufacturing to meet promised customer ship requirements.
Will answer related inquiries for all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates ability to take directions as well as give instructions to others with a goal of meeting the scheduling requirements.
Able to meet deadlines and exercise good judgment regarding related items.
Essential Functions:
1.
Daily analysis, planning, and review of work center capacity based on requirements.
Daily use of ERP modules to determine production needs.
2.
Maintain and review production schedules targeting customer promise delivery dates.
3.
Effective sequencing of jobs, processes, and assignments to individual work centers to meet customer promises.
4.
Communicate with customer service on status of production jobs and estimated completion.
5.
Communicate with various departments on any potential production issues or needs.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong knowledge of schedule sequencing and be able to extract data from ERP to build an effective production schedule that meets our promises to our customers.
Should be skilled in the use of Excel and other software and understand how an ERP system works.
Possess a team attitude and a desire to work with others to achieve a successful outcome from planning-to-shipment that meets our promises.

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Desire a bachelor's degree in Business, Production/Operations Management or similar discipline.
Minimum of three years' experience in master scheduling, materials planning, and/or production control in a manufacturing environment utilizing an ERP based system.
Recommended Skills Capacity Planning Customer Service Decision Making Logistics Operations Operations Management Positive Attitude Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
