S.
federal and state income tax filings, including, quarterly estimates, extensions and tax returns.
In addition, the Senior Tax Analyst will assist in the preparation of the quarterly and year-end global income tax provisions.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing tax research, assisting in U.
S.
federal, state, and foreign income tax audits, responding to notices and assisting with other tax return filings.
Responsibilities Prepare and review U.
S.
Federal Form 1120 pro forma and consolidated returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data and completing required forms.
Prepare and review U.
S.
federal compliance for foreign companies, including Forms 5471 and 8858.
Prepare and review state and local income and franchise tax returns by obtaining and analyzing applicable financial data, preparing state allocation and apportionment schedules, and completing required forms.
Prepare and review calculation of quarterly tax estimates for U.
S.
federal, state, and local and franchise tax purposes.
Assist in collecting and analyzing financial data for the purposes of calculating the quarterly and year-end income tax provisions.
Perform research and prepare calculations relating to specific tax positions, issues, and special projects relating to domestic or international tax.
Assist in the coordination and management of U.
S.
federal, state and local and foreign income tax audits.
Assist in tax planning focused on minimizing business related taxes.
Initiate and assist in the implementation of departmental process improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university; CPA a plus.

years of tax experience with a public accounting firm or publicly traded company.
Experience with tax compliance software (Corptax), tax research software, and OneStream software a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.
g.
, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to interact and work cooperatively with peers and supervisors within and outside of the department.
Able to work independently or as a team member to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
Highly competent in written and verbal communication of financial information and tax law to both accounting and non-accounting personnel.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments; working additional hours as required to meet deadlines.
Some travel may be required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
