SUMMARY The Production Planner role will work closely with manufacturing teams, customer planning teams and our supply chain resources to plan and prioritize operations and logistics processes in a way that optimizes the flow of materials, maximizes process utilization and efficiently deploys resources to reliably deliver products on-time to our internal and external customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collect, review and analyze demand, capacity and performance data to identify optimum Kanban inventory setpoints to eliminate missed shipments and minimize excess inventory.
Collaboratively create, standardize and communicate daily production, shipment and inventory plans delivering results that meet or exceed Kanban & Delivery KPI's.
Identify and proactively plan for potential changes in demand, resource availability, extended repairs and supply shortages to minimize impact to our customers, associates and financial performance.
Streamline associated business processes to eliminate complexity and build consistency.
Coordinate with key stakeholders to find innovative solutions and create execution plans when roadblocks arise to delivering high quality products on time.
Confer with department supervisors to understand progress of work and estimated completion dates on critical tools/equipment.
Communicate regularly with customers/key stakeholders ensuring timely information exchange.
Follow-up with cross functional teams to expedite flow of materials, documents and information to meet customer expectations.
Complete transactions and work orders to support production requirements.
Produce timely reports consisting of key metrics, data analysis and status updates as requested.
Assist with performing inventory cycle counting and error reports, analyze results and help to permanently resolve any significant variances.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) or other relevant certification is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Excel.
Proficiency with MRP/ERP/AS400/Kanban tools preferred.
Collect, analyze & interpret data to develop insightful solutions, and present clearly & concisely.
Ability to influence others thru good communication skills.
The ability to manage projects and work in a team project environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
