PACE Equity works with commercial building owners and developers who are undertaking major construction projects such as building renovation, solar & renewables, redevelopment and ground up new construction.
PACE Equity provides capital for these projects through Commercial PACE programs throughout the country.
A typical project has $5 million in funding from PACE Equity and a total development budget of $30 million.
The Servicing Specialist is responsible for assisting in the execution of asset management functions for PACE Equity funded projects.
This position will touch projects pre-closing, post-closing onboarding, during the construction disbursement process, and throughout the life of servicing to payoff.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Onboarding new closings to internal systems.
Manage data entries to asset management system for servicing and securitization purposes.
Tracking of assessment payments and portfolio reporting.
Reconciling project accounts and interest carry.
Assist in the disbursement request process with PACE Equity, clients, escrow agents against project documentation and internal policies.
Work with clients to update status and gather documents for approvals.
Create and maintain document templates and processes for each state / jurisdiction.
Collaborate with municipalities and district administrators for proper setup and maintenance and internal systems.
Manage annual assessment certifications, confirmation of assessment payments, investor reporting, and project administration.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong preference to individuals with experience or education in a commercial real estate disbursement or loan servicing role.
Qualified professionals will have a background in a finance, servicing or lending capacity performing similar functions.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks independently is required.
