Position Summary The Production Manager is responsible for the quality and quantity of products being produced in interior manufacturing, ensuring they are produced on time, on budget, and to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
Specific Responsibilities This role is ultimately responsible for the production interior signs in the shop.
o Establish and maintain an effective QC process.
All signs should be checked for quality/ quantity/ correctness by someone other than the final assembler before the job is closed out.
o Ensure that every work center has a backup so that production doesn't come to a stand-still if someone is out on PTO.
o Set priorities and expectations for your team to ensure that each job gets its due attention and meets the required timing.
The expectation is that you work closely with the Regional Director of Project Management.
o Set and enforce work hours that you think make the shop most effective.
o Establish a system with Pre-Production, Project Services, and your own group to manage the cut list duties.
The expectation is that you or someone on your team reviews each job in Cut List and determines how the signs will be build and what materials need to be ordered, if any.
o Work closely with our purchasing/ sourcing team to keep the shop well stocked Lead the Production Meeting with the Project Services group each week.
You should work closely with the Regional Director of Project Management to determine the most effective manner in which to provide the information to the team.
Provide thorough and timely responses to issues, questions, and concerns.
Responsible for setting and meeting lead times.
Facilitate communication and share company updates by holding internal meetings with your team.
Establish and maintain an environment that fosters the One Poblocki mentality.

Administratively, you will be responsible for:
o Reviewing and approving PTO requests and processing them through Paychex.
o Working with your team and HR to address and correct any issues/ concerns with payroll.
o Hiring new employees, terminating employees based on performance, and moving personnel around if needed.
o Managing personalities to ensure a comfortable and respectful workplace.
o Report any instances of behavior in which there is discrimination or foul play.
Position Requirements A technical degree in Construction or Business Management, and/or 5 years of production leadership experience.
Experience managing a team effectively, using strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling programs and exposure to an ERP or MRP software system.
Knowledge and understanding of technical documents, such as drawings, blueprints, or reports.
Problem solving and analytical thinking are required to effectively get products through our system and operations.
A self-motivator who can work independently and take initiative.
Ability to set priorities and multi-task on a daily basis.
Must be detail-orientated and exhibit strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle fluctuating workloads while still being able to complete required activities.

Compensation/ Benefits This position will start at a rate commensurate with experience.
