Since our commencement in 2007, we have quickly become one of the largest providers of quality rental homes.n We are currently seeking a qualified residential Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on single family homes. Successful candidates will be hard working, reliable, ability to work independently or as a team. We are seeking candidates who desire a long term career opportunity with a successful company in the residential services industry.n Position Summary/Objective n Service Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of our properties. They must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality repairs to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. They must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Customer service is of the highest importance and must always be displayed. Other tasks include finish work and occasional property turnover. Documentation is done via smart devices such as smartphones and tablets. n Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesnnCompletes resident service requests or turns in a timely manner, providing outstanding customer experiences to residents nAn average of 5 service requests should be completed per day. Management has discretion depending on the complexity of the job and work orders nAssists with upkeep of all assets to meet Company quality standards nHandles emergency service requests on a rotational basis nEnsures all tasks are completed in a timely manner nUses company tools and equipment as directed and in accordance with all required safety standards nCoordinates with assigned personnel and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and service requests efficiently nFunctions as part of an interdepartmental team nResponds to emergency situations during after-hours to resolve immediate safety concernsnn Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, SKILLS, and Abilities) nnStrong aptitude with computers, internet, network phone systemsnWork is performed while standing, sitting and/or walkingnRequires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing nRequires the ability to lift carry, push, pull medium weights up to 75 poundsnRequires activity involving being exposed to moving machinerynChanges in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases nTransport a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the service site nExemplary Customer Service skillsnHigh school diploma or equivalentnTwo to five years' previous experience in a maintenance rolenHVAC Certification PreferrednAt least two years of Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electrical experiencenMust have own tools, we will provide larger equipment as needednPass a Motor Vehicle, Drug Screen, Credit, and Criminal Background Check nTime Management skillsnValid driver's license is a requirement nn Please be aware that a positive test could render you ineligible for hire. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
