Key Responsibilities Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and electrical equipment and systems according to established procedures.
Performs troubleshooting and root cause analyses of machine and system issues.
Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks.
Assembles, disassembles, replaces, and calibrates machinery and parts as needed.
Education and Experience High school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills Prioritize safety in the performance of every job.
Proficiency with 480VAC distribution systems, control circuit troubleshooting and working with automation such as PLCs or DCS.
Possess a firm understanding of NFPA-70e and standard industrial safety practices.
Ability to install electrical conduit and wiring per construction documentation.
Use electrical drawings to make wiring connections.
Ability to Install and maintain motors, motor starters and variable speed drives.
Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
