Senior Project Manager - Marketing Ops

About the position:
Juniper Networks is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-profile projects and lay the foundation for improvement of the overall work management processes. The role will sit within the Marketing department and report into the Marketing Operations Director, but this individual will be responsible for managing one of the highest visibility cross-functional initiatives at Juniper, requiring close engagement and collaboration with teams and leaders across the company in Marketing, Sales, Services, IT, and Executive functions. The ideal candidate is an expert in methods for driving process improvement and successfully managing programs from ideation to ongoing operations, but focuses first on business outcomes, building a deep understanding of the business objectives and intended results. The candidate should be technology and data-fluent and focus on implementing processes that are lightweight for involved parties.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall delivery of projects. This involves managing all aspects of assigned projects, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources. Guide SaaS developers, data engineers and analysts through the development process. Address internal escalations through problem solving sessions, which may involve analyzing logs, code, integrations, and technical requirements, to ensure timely delivery of project. Hold teams accountable for documentation best practices, ranging from business and technical requirements document, developer documentation, project plans to meeting minutes. Develop internal communication strategies to effectively coordinate work across various departments Effectively influence without authority, particularly in engaging with senior stakeholders & teammates that extend outside the marketing department Engage effectively across all levels of the organization and hold people accountable for action Lead meetings involving cross functional teams, being the one person to always stay engaged and keep the conversation on-track Lead technical teams and resources in prioritizing work, leveraging agile methodologies Create and present reports to kick off programs, rally a team around a shared mission, and track status Conduct basic analytics to identify opportunities and measure progress Continually sharpen skills through study of industry best practices Identify process and/or team bottlenecks and lead critical conversations around removing impediments Minimum
Qualifications:

Years Experience utilizing cloud project management applications (e.g Wrike, Workfront, SmartSheet, Clarizen, etc.) 5
Years Experience as Project Manager in Enterprise environment, preferably for a technology company Experience managing programs leveraging technical teams and resources - e.g. leading stand-ups, leveraging scrum/agile methodologies, holding developers accountable to improvements and timelines Experience managing product development workflows - e.g. Kanban boards, Jira, etc. PMP and/or Agile and/or Six Sigma certifications Comfort conducting basic analytics using tools such as Excel and pivot tables Excellence in creating reports and their presentation Bachelor's degree in business management, project management or a related discipline or equivalent experience Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and achieve targeted objectives Previous developer experience preferred MarketingBCGLOBAL As Juniper is a US Federal Contractor, proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required for all U.S. employees. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
