The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (VAMC) is a tertiary care facility providing advanced medical care to a diverse population of Veterans. Zablocki is affiliated with the Medical College of Wisconsin, and as such integrates teaching, research, and advanced patient care into its organizational mission. The facility offers a full spectrum of comprehensive health care services, using state-of-the-art technology and innovative programs to deliver patient-centered care. The VAMC is seeking a part-time 5/8ths, academic Hematologist/Oncologist, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The position will involve regular clinical work, teleclinical work, inpatient service and teaching of interns, residents, fellows at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Academic appointment and salary will commensurate with experience and rank. Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Experience:
Completion of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and are board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Qualify for a full-time academic appointment at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Reference:

Walking, bending, stooping, and some lifting in the direct care of patients. There may also be extended periods of sitting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
