As a highly trained professional, you will help prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, and serve as an extra set of hands during surgical procedures. If this type of team work sounds intriguing to you, then we want to see you apply today!
Prepares for surgical procedures and assists surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractor and anticipating needs during surgical procedures. Assists with orientation of new personnel to the scrubbing role.
  • Knowledge of sterile procedure, instruments set up and operating room procedures acquired through completion of one year coursework in an operating room technician program.
  • Certification (CST) required.
  • Two years of Surgical Technologist experience, with a minimum one year experience in pediatric surgical technology preferred.
  • Complete familiarity with surgeon's preference, unit policies and procedures.
  • Ability to rotate shifts and / or work flexible hours to meet patient care needs. On call is a requirement.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time for up to 85% of work time, and lift and move large pieces of equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.

This position is (4) 10 hour shifts from 6:
50am - 5:
20pm, with a rotting off day.
Although final position will be (4) 10 hour shifts, orientation will be Monday through Friday from 6:
50am until 3:
20pm with off shift rotation. Orientation lasts approximately 6-9 months depending on previous experience.
This position also includes weekday, weekend and holiday call requirements (must report to hospital within 30 minutes).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
