This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions and to all our customers.
Your day will be spent thoroughly cleaning parts in a solvent tank following our process & procedures and inspecting them to quality standards.
You must work efficiently, interact and help other team members to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly on the production line.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly wash and inspect parts in solvent, maintain one-piece flow in order not to mix job numbers Process at minimum 2 units per hour and assist others when caught up with one's own work Place parts in correct baskets and make sure all baskets are labeled correctly, keep an even workflow Perform preventative maintenance on teardown and production line equipment as necessary Keep the solvent tank clean of loose debris and dirt, sweep and mop job area throughout the day Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed Follow directions from team leads, supervisors, and managers, be proactive and helpful Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily Embrace ETE Reman's Core Values The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned.

Essential Functions:
Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail-oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times and will have to work with chemicals Skill and ability to work with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own), and other instruments Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8
hours a day, and under pressure at times Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication, and decision-making skills Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
