SMarshals Service management and other staff members in all office activities and operations as assignedThe Investigative Research Analyst will work independently to provide overall supportMust be a U.
SCitizenMust undergo and pass a background investigation (BI) Travel Percentage 0-10% Responsibilities :
o Gather and analyze data from federal, state, and local law enforcement and public sourcesMaintain working relationships with personnel from other agencies participating in the task forceo Provide analytical support to investigators by accessing various law enforcement and public databases and acquiring any documents or information needed during an investigationo Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate various fugitive investigations from all participating agencies, collateral leads from other Regional Fugitive Task Forces and U.
SMarshals Service offices, and investigative requests from non-participating agencieso Assist in the examination and collection of statisticsAssist in creating reports, spreadsheets, press releases, and local fugitive cases into the USMS WIN/JDIS system and closing caseso Assist in maintaining property inventoryShipping and receiving itemsDistributing inventory to personnel and maintaining property transfer receiptso Assist in creating reports and presentation materials for conferences and meetings Qualifications :
o A high school diplomao Must have at least three years of specialized experience in the above-described dutieso Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skillso Exhibit a high level of confidentialityo At least three years of experience using Virtual Earth, MapPoint and Google Earth software, and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications :
