Position
Summary:
The Machine Operator (Heat Shrink Sleeves) will be responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
The machine operator will be successful in this position by executing to standard work & adhering to all company policies.
We have 3rd Shift positions:
Week 1:
Monday Friday and Saturday 6:
00pm - 6:
00am - Tuesday 6:
00pm - 11:
00pm Week 2:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 6:
00pm - 6:
00am - this comes out to 75 hours/pay period Pay is $18 - $26/hr - $2500 SIGN ON BONUS and $2.
00 shift premium on night shift.
This position is located at our manufacturing plant at 2230 W.
Florist Ave in Glendale, WI.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Weighing and mixing raw materials following batch instructions Work with hazardous materials utilizing engineering controls and PPE Willingness and ability to learn and contribute to Lean/5S/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Perform production equipment set up, clean up, safe operation, & operator level maintenance of assigned equipment Identify & maintain quality standards while meeting daily & weekly production goals Understand & follow established standard work documents Perform adjustments to production equipment as necessary Communicate production performance to appropriate leaders & departments Support area goals for continuous improvement by serving on project teams as required Adhere to Brady's attendance, safety, & other company policies Maintain general housekeeping & clean production areas at end of every shift Provide support within other production areas as needed & other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High school diploma or equivalent 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment Basic math and computer skills (E-mail, MS Office, G Suite, & data entry) Ability to work in a team environment Ability to read & follow verbal & written instructions Flexible in schedule to work overtime, nights & weekends as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly & stand for 100% of shift Ability to bend, twist, crawl, climb & reach to perform job duties Ability to read a micrometer accurately within 0.

Mechanical aptitude (working with hand tools, pneumatic tools, following work instructions for disassembling and reassembling various types of process equipment) Digital printing, wide web handling, coating processes, screen printing, and/or CNC experience Experience using SAP or other ERP systems Associate's degree Job Type:
