Duties include incoming inspection, first article layout, and machine setup approvals.
Proficiency in the use of hand held gages, drop gages, optical comparators and hardness testers.

Certified Mechanical Inspector knowledge is beneficial.
Needs to be competent in the inspection of screw machine parts, stamped parts and plastic injection molded parts.
Experience running a Ziess CMM with Calypso software a plus.
The inspector will work with blueprints, specifications, Receiving Acceptance Plans, Receiving Reports, Move Tickets, verbal instructions, etc.
to inspect purchased items.
Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
Must show proficiency in use of popular computer software products (Microsoft Office, etc.
).
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
