Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager performs a variety of duties to determine that materials, products and/or processes are in accordance with specifications and requirements.
This position is responsible for ensuring increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction, while continuously improving the efficiency of the entire facility.
Requirements:

1.
Facilitate the Return Material Authorization (RMA) Process:
Facilitate and monitor that the RMA process is completed in a timely manner.
Conduct failure analysis on both an individual and team level when applicable.
Ensure proper feedback to all pertinent functions on quality related issues.
Gather, evaluate and present empirical data for process and product improvement.
2.
Corrective Action Reporting (CAR):
Analyze, revise and update databases as required.
Investigate, and performs root cause analysis for deviations and customer complaints Create and route necessary reports to applicable resources, teams or members of management.
Utilize the database and format correctly.
3.
Facilitate of the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) Process:
Assist in the process and disposition of NCM material.
Assist in the permanent resolution using problem solving techniques to ensure that the true root cause is determined and resolved.
Ensure proper feedback to all pertinent functions on quality related issues.
4.
Documentation:
Facilitate development of quality documentation (IIR, SUIR, etc.
) Perform audits on finished goods received by internal and external customers Measuring production; documenting evidence; determining accept or reject criteria Assist the Manager of Quality Services in any phase of documentation development and cycle.
5.
Testing and/or investigation:
Lead the collection, analysis, summary and reporting of data in an appropriate format.
Perform capability and other statistical analysis as required.
Enter, monitor, and maintain instrument calibration and paperwork 6.
Internal Auditing:
Conduct internal audits per audit schedule or by request.
Complete audit reporting in an objective manner.
Generate reports and arrange necessary outputs per requirements.
Writing and updating quality work instructions and procedures to comply with Quality Management System (ISO 9001) 7.
External Audits:
Conduct external audits when necessary for evaluation of new and existing suppliers.
Complete audit reporting in an objective manner.
Generate reports and arrange necessary outputs per requirements.
8.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience 1.
1-5 years of experience in a quality environment.
Post-secondary education is preferred or comparable certification through American Society of Quality (ASQ).
2.
Experience in a metal fabrication environment preferred.
3.
Three to five years of Windows office experience/expertise.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1.
Familiarity with company products 2.
Familiarity with multiple measurement devices:
Caliper, micrometer, height gauge, CMM and/or Romer 3.
Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
4.
Ability to work effectively with peers in a collaborative team-based environment.
5.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization, which requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
6.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and the Internet.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
