And if that's you we would love to have you join us! Job Description The Global Trade Compliance Export Specialist is responsible for administering export compliance program activity in support of the company's growth objectives.
This person reports to the Global Trade Compliance Export Manager in the Office of General Counsel and partners across the company to provide export compliance guidance and process development to ensure compliance with US and local law in the exportation of goods, technology, and services globally.
This individual will also respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
For the right candidate, this position could be worked remotely from any location in the US Key
Responsibilities:
Monitor, interpret, and communicate export-related regulations, requirements, and changes impacting company operations Support the Global Trade Compliance Export Manager with overall administration of the company's export compliance program, including the development and delivery of policies, procedures, guidance, and training globally Perform in-depth regulatory, organizational, and/or technical analysis of export related issues Lead and/or collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives/projects to address and improve company compliance Provide expertise, feedback, and guidance to functional groups having a direct or indirect responsibility for, or impact on, company export activity Guide, review, and approve export license, ruling, and jurisdiction applications, and file required reports with appropriate agencies Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to export activity Provide guidance and support on systems/tools used for export screening and due diligence Understand and apply export requirements for countries where Rockwell Automation operates Maintain a thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures and apply to responsibilities Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration/International Degree or related field.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Preferred Qualifications/Criteria:
Direct knowledge of the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.
Global trade and compliance expertise, consisting of 5
years managing multiple, complex trade compliance programs for an entity with global operations.
Knowledge of corporate trade compliance programs and issues desired.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Competency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
