Site Superintendent
Job Description:
Serve as an on-site company representative, capable of articulating company core values and mission, enforcing company standards including (but not limited to) quality and safety.
Read, understand, and enforce construction plans, specifications, schedule, and other documents as required to ensure project delivery.
Maintain daily job log and site photos throughout project duration, and on order, provide to Project Manager for inspection.
Coordinate subcontractors as required and ensure that they adhere to the schedule and meet all deliverable requirements.
Assist with project-related close-out activities such as supervising punch-list completion, O&M training, and delivery of accurate as-built drawings.
Identify, track, and expedite site material and logistical needs and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers for delivery.
Maintain site safety at all times, including daily adherence to OSHA regulations (at minimum), KPH requirements, and a clean job site.
Provide project Quality Control oversight and management directly related to work performed onsite.
General Additional requirements include:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the construction industry Experience with a variety of projects in both ground-up construction and interior renovations in either commercial, mixed-use, retail, or residential construction sectors.
Ability to foster strong relationships with other departments within company to include:
project managers, marketing, business development, accounting, carpenters and other superintendents.
Initiation of personal development program to build professional and managerial skills.
Completion of all activities with a pride of ownership.
Demonstration of adherence to company goals.
Must be self-motivated, punctual and foster confidence.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks, have excellent follow up skills and work as a team member.
Compensation (based on experience) Salary - Salary to vary based on experience.
Starting at $75,000 Vacation - One to two weeks starting vacation time (case by case basis) Holidays - Company observes standard 7 holidays with paid time off Simple IRA - Company matching $1 for each employee $1 contributed to fund (up to 3% of employee salary per year).
Employee is immediately vesting in the matching funds.
Skills/competencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Building Connected, Foundation Project Management, PROCORE, SmartBid, ISQFT, On-Screen Take-Off, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Project.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be comfortable in handling large projects and files with confidential data Knowledge of all project trades including MEP, fire suppression, carpentry, among others.
