Position
Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager Hospital Development & Volunteer, is responsible for direct support to the Hospital Development department for Versiti Organ & Tissue.
Primarily responsible for completing project-based assigned work, oversight and coordination of external reporting, regular data quality review, compilation, and analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Acts as a consultant to hospitals for compliance with JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and legislation related to organ and tissue donation.
Responsibilities:
Oversees regular external data and reporting.
Completes a quality review of monthly donation partner dashboards and supports regular, timely distribution.
May support the Compliance Analyst in reviewing data and reports shared by external donation partners with Versiti Organ & Tissue.
Conducts regular review of identified process issues (variances).
Completes relevant analysis and compiles report outlining impact on Versiti Organ & Tissue's donation potential and outcomes.
Engages in continuous improvement strategies and promotes ongoing enhancement of activities and processes related to Hospital Development and Versiti Organ & Tissue's engagement of donation partners.
Provides guidance for the most appropriate activities directed toward increasing rates of organ and tissue donation at hospitals within the DSA based on assessment of hospital donation data, such as hospital rounds.
Responsible for regular internal reporting of Hospital Development data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manages the Hospital Development usage, functionality, and further development in iTransplant, the electronic health record system of Versiti Organ & Tissue.
Responsible for effective records keeping related to Hospital Development and associated regulatory standards.
May coordinate, lead, and/or participate in education activities, events, and meetings for hospital administration and staff involved in organ procurement and recovery; develops educational materials as needed.
May develop, conduct, and/or participate in community education and awareness programs/meetings for community health care professionals and the public regarding organ donation.
Accurately completes all appropriate donation documentation forms in a timely fashion.
Participates in the general orientation and training of newly hired OPO personnel.
May coordinate and/or participate in various donation-related community activities/events as assigned such as the organ donor awareness month, donor family celebrations, and VOT volunteer recognition events.
Contributes to quality assurance activities.
Supports and demonstrates a customer service commitment to internal and external customers through adherence to Versiti customer service standards and processes.
Maintains competence through attendance at mandatory and other job-related educational opportunities.
Actively participates in Lean and continuous improvement activities.
Understands how applicable laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures impact specific job responsibilities and functions and performs assigned job functions in accordance with them to include those set forth by the AOPO (Association of Organ Procurement Organizations).

Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required Equivalent combination of education and related experience (3-5 yrs) may be substituted for the degree with the approval of Human Resources required Experience Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience such as sales, marketing, social services, or professional education required Health care experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A strong customer service focus with effective relationship-building skills required to work in partnership with various levels of hospital staff and community organizations required Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills including the ability to communicate and collaborate with others in challenging and stressful situations required Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining attention to detail required Flexibility and dedication for handling a demanding, irregular schedule under pressure to meet deadlines required Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment required Effective problem solving and decision-making skills which demonstrate good judgment required Ability to think strategically, and independently develop outreach programs required Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with database systems required Valid Wisconsin Driver's License and access to a vehicle required Tools and Technology Personal Computer (desk top, lap top, tablet).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
