The Regional Marketing Manager's (RMM) primary role is to lead the development and execution of the regional marketing strategy for my client's North American market in accordance with corporate global strategies and guidelines. In collaboration with sales and product management, the RMM will evaluate, prioritize, and develop marketing campaigns, promotional calendars, design of various marketing tools including literature, product promotions, print/online advertising, and POP. The RMM will also be responsible for public relations, social media, corporate events and trade shows. The position requires extensive networking and teamwork with marketing, sales, and product management teams across my client's group of companies.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Managerial Functions:
Create and implement strategic and tactical plans for staff.
Hold subordinates accountable and addresses poor performance.
Conduct performance reviews in a timely fashion and gives clear and honest feedback.
Demonstrate responsibility for budget and effective utilization of resources - plan and manage resources to maximize results.
Strategy for Marketing:
Develop appropriate marketing strategies and campaign in close cooperation with sales and product management for the North American region (US and Canada).
Support marketing activities in the South American region.
The scope includes all product lines promoted and sold in the North American region.
Support and develop regional plans for the execution of global marketing/branding strategy.
Work with the global marketing team to ensure continuous exchange of marketing materials, ideas and strategies.
Cross Functional Team Building and Communication:
Align sales and marketing strategy to achieve corporate goal.
Develop and maintain a productive environment through an accident free, high quality, continuous improvement culture.
Assess the status of projects and processes and resolves discrepancies.
Communicate directly with marketing and market introduction teams for successful product launches.
Specific Marketing Goals:
Continuously promote and improve brand awareness and brand reputation for the company brand within the assigned area of responsibility.
Implement a campaign driven approach to marketing utilizing the most cost effective marketing tools.
Challenge organization to adopt cost effective new marketing tools for creation and distribution of all online, printed, and other media material.
Develop and implement a cost effective trade show strategy.
Develop and implement a social media strategy.
Develop and implement a point of purchase (POP) strategy.
Maintain and develop contact with trade publications (editorial content).
Develop advertisements for print and online, and develops an advertising strategy.
Develop and implement effective direct marketing programs to reach end users.
Design, develop, and maintain online content.
Supervise the use of all corporate identity in any form across the company.
Develop and/or coordinate video productions.
Plan and support corporate events.
Develop and plan a merchandising strategy.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with focus on Marketing is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience within a capital goods manufacturing environment, preferably in Industrial Machinery in either a marketing and/or sales function is preferred.
One (1) year minimum supervising/managing a team is required.
Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills and a proven presentation skills are required.
Proven track record in sales and/or marketing.
Proven track record of team work and team building, preferably in a global organization
Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as familiarity with web design, online media, and video creation.
Proficiency in Spanish preferred, but not required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
