Cardno ATC is seeking a part time Staff Scientist to work in our Milwaukee, WI office.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Manage and prepare environmental permits; conduct facility audits and inspections; and address compliance-related issues
Prepare SWPPPs and SPCC Plans; prepare Annual and Biennial Hazardous Waste and Tier II and other reports related to environmental compliance
Help grow the branch and division at a sustainable level
Mentor and develop staff utilizing your experience as a solid foundation
Drive company or rental vehicles
Other duties assigned by supervisor or branch manager
Manage project budgets, invoicing, client interface and utilization
Requirements
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS (or equivalent experience)
Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience with hazardous waste management and compliance
Audit skills preferred
Ability to work independently
Demonstrated PC proficiency (MS Office suite)
Detail oriented and able to multi-task
Self-motivated and ability to motivate others in the workplace and contribute to positive work environment
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to problem solve

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
