This Director will be over 1-2 manufacturing plants. This is probably good for an HR Manager ready to step into a
Director role, and up from there. Its a grooming spot.
Requirements:
BS degree in Human Resources or related field.
Eight to 12 years ( probably 12 years max) of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
Working knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, employment law, safety, workers
compensation, hourly and technical compensation, and training.
The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing and consistently enforcing policies, procedures and programs with emphasis on employee relations, hourly compensation, communications, staffing, record retention, and ensuring that the domestic manufacturing and distribution facilities are in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position will also assist Supply Chain and Operations management with driving their overall business strategies. The Human Resources Director works closely with the entire Human Resources team to develop, implement and evaluate HR policies, programs, functions and activities and will perform with the highest standards of personal, professional, ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Provide supervision and leadership for HR staff through performance management execution, including coaching, counseling and developing annual goals.
Provide counsel to Supply Chain and Operations management, as well as hourly employees regarding policy interpretation, employment practices, application of plant rules, discipline, etc.
Confer with Management and conduct needs assessments to identify work situations and processes where performance could be improved.
Establishes and maintains a cooperative, professional, positive, and harmonious working relationship with all personnel and management levels
Work with the Safety Leader to provide comprehensive industrial injury prevention/treatment program. Ensure that program is in compliance with OSHA regulations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
