Digital Communications Coordinator Milwaukee, WI 17 month contract $17-20 per hour
Job Summary
Supports implementation of the company's digital communication strategy and maintaining and improving the company's communication to employees, dealers and other stakeholders via digital and electronic media. This role serves as a digital technology expert and supports the operational management of digital channels, with primary emphasis on publishing and launching content to employees and dealers via digital portals (intranets), broadcast emails, virtual channels and internal social media.
This position supports overall usability of the digital portals, a digital signage system and a bi-weekly email communication, including the execution of new content, features and functions according to company brand and image governance standards. This position also assists in directing the content publishing process, assuring that functions and their publishers can effectively publish information to worldwide portals, including administering training to portal users.
Working with key internal stakeholders and required external resources, this position will help develop, recommend, gain approval and direct enhancements to digital channels, as well as explore other communication technologies for implementation. Will work closely with Regional and Dealer Communication and Operations and Functional Communications in executing strategic initiatives.
This position will also help lead the adoption and appropriate usage of online surveys distributed to dealers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Publishing
Develops content for employee and dealer channels. Coordinates and manages the content publishing process for all digital channels, demonstrating and sharing expertise on publishing tools.
Reviews content developed by third party and other publishers. Collaborates with peers in Communication to ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels. Consults with content owners to support publishing content to portals.
Digital Channel Management
Trains and manages the publishing process for internal web publishers. Establishes a portal workgroup to ensure that appropriate portal governance policies and standards are met, especially as they relate to content management issues. Champions agreed-upon process improvements that involve content management and web publishing. Evaluates, tests and verifies system change requests and ensures that all system, support and training documentation is updated to reflect approved changes in a timely manner.
Measurement
Manages the process for soliciting stakeholder feedback and input to all channels. Prepares and analyzes usage and effectiveness reports for all channels using available tracking tools. Makes recommendations as appropriate. Recommends and develops strategic and operational plans to increase usage and effectiveness.
Online Surveys
Administers online surveys as requested by stakeholders distributed via digital channels, in accordance with established protocols.
Team Support and Collaboration
Collaborates and provides support for department team members. Provides input and collaboration on all aspects of communication planning and execution. Collaborates with and provides periodic support to the Company's other electronic communication efforts. Works to increase the awareness and understanding of electronic communication techniques throughout the department and company. Assists with writing and/or project planning support.

Education Level: Bachelors in Communications, Organizational Communications, Marketing or related technology field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relevant
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years in effectively implementing and/or managing electronic/digital communication systems for large audiences using current and emerging technologies. Knowledge of portal publishing processes is strongly desired. Ability to effectively teach technical systems to non-technical individuals, strong focus on customer service. Solid written (business, web and journalistic style) and verbal communication skills, with a good working knowledge of print, editing, graphic design, photographic and online communications. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others is necessary. Flexibility to work in an interactive environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and effectively work under tight deadlines on a regular basis. o Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. Strong attention to detail and deadlines is required o Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable prose and speech. o Ability to work well with a variety of people at every level of the Company. o Experience in a unionized environment a plus. o Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office products, as well as Internet/Intranet publishing experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
