THE CHALLENGE:
This key hire will be the ultimate driver in influencing and promoting Quality Assurance related programs throughout the company. Incumbent will be responsible for organizing, planning, implementing, and controlling quality assurance programs which will reduce overall manufacturing costs by identification and elimination of causes of cost of quality, re-inspection, defect escape, customer complaints and production delays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in an Engineering concentration. Master's degree is a plus.

years of broad based Quality Assurance experience. Must have experience working in a TS 16949, ISO 9001and/or ISO 14001 environment. (Automotive experience is strongly preferred).
5
years' experience in a quality leadership (people management) capacity.
Experience working in high mix/low volume, multi process (assembly, molding, electronics, etc.) electro-mechanical environment is strongly preferred.
Must have experience managing New and Existing Product Quality Engineering support related to NPD projects, design changes, design improvements, reliability, risk assessments, root cause failure analysis, verification/validation of product performance to specifications and industry standards.
Must have outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with customers and all level of employees.
Must have the ability to coordinate and lead successful cross-functional quality projects and initiatives.
ASQ certifications of CQE and CQM/OE are strongly preferred, as well as Six Sigma Black Belt certification (Master Black Belt is a plus). Experience with Lean philosophies and tools are also a plus.
Experience using tools such as advanced product quality planning (APQP), value stream mapping, 5S, set-up reduction, and through-put measurement is strongly preferred.
