CARA's manufacturing client in Milwaukee, WI requires two Instructional Design Consultants who will focus on improving quality, reducing turnover, and overall cost in their plants. With nearly 400 plants globally they are seeking standardization, recognizing that many of their products require vastly different production approaches. Our client has identified 9 different work streams aligning with all core areas of production.

The Instructional Designer Consultants will design coaches training (Master Black Belt leaders who need to work with employees on development coaching) and Plant staff training on the maturity model understanding and standards definition.

Consultants will work on 3 projects with multiple deliverables. Additional instructional design support will be added during the course of the project.

Our client is looking for solid, creative, seasoned Instructional Designers who know the ADDIE model, contemporary rapid design approaches, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma/Manufacturing concepts. They will also be able to facilitate discussions with SMEs in different work streams.

Requirements:
Ability to work with several SMEs at multiple levels in the organization
Design intuitive and creative learning and performance support tools
Develop training with an emphasis on innovative eLearning
Apply adult learning principles in collaboration with teammates
Ability to lead and drive a project through on time completion
Analyze business needs and directly link performance outcomes to the business metrics
Ability to provide a holistic solutions that maximize the impact to the business
Create and support a strong global team environment
Be a driver for global standards and quality outcomes

Duration: 9
month project

Location: Onsite in Milwaukee for the first 3 to 4 weeks, then flexibility to work remotely and onsite as requested

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
