Our customer, a world-class manufacturer of electro-mechanical products, is in IMMEDIATE need of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong Lean and Continuous Improvement experience!
This is a direct hire.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in the following areas:
Provide expert support in the areas of New Product Development and Launches, Value Analysis, Problem Solving, and Process Analysis
Possesses expert knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and methods required to implement continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacture of microprocessor-based electronic systems, sheet metal cabinets and plastic injected packaging
Extensive experience managing product flow (e.g. routings, machining, CNC (and other computer-controlled automated equipment), tooling, laser cutting, brake presses, inspection methods, OEE, VSM, kanban used throughout the manufacturing process
Seeks out best practices and latest technologies and implements them in CNC machining, fixturing, tooling, automation, and product/feature inspection
Has proven experience developing and implementing standardized best practice methodologies that improve quality while increasing throughput.

Key Attributes
Expert knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and methods required to implement continuous improvement initiatives across departments
STRONG verbal and written communication skills; must have an ability to work in a team environment, lead others and be able to build strong relationships throughout company and with customers, suppliers, etc.
Proficiency using a high level ERP (such as SAP) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and at least one of the following 3D drawing packages (Solidworks, Inventor or Pro-e).
Have expert knowledge reading blueprints and GD&T
Have a strong understanding of QSR/ISO regulations including design assurance, FMEA and product testing methods
Education and Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated high-level Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and/or Continuous Improvement experience.
Certification as a Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) and/or Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus
