Our customer, a busy OEM has an IMMEDIATE need for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong assembly and packaging experience.
This is a DIRECT hire and is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-known and highly respected, employee-driven company.
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, complex high mix / low volume manufacturing environment
Proven experience establishing labor standards while being able to resolve production-related assembly, parts, and supplier issues using LEAN-based Value Stream Mapping
Have previous experience creating assembly and routing instructions, line design and balancing, resource planning and PFEMAs
Additional experience resolving assembly (cross functional) and packaging issues (plastic, sheet metal and stainless) caused (in part) by supplier-related issues - this is will be a major bonus

Other duties and traits we are looking for include:
Extensive LEAN Manufacturing experience with a focus on Kaizen
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years industry experience or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years direct experience.
Solid, hands on experience utilizing a high-level ERP such as SAP, SyteLine, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
